The role required oversight of a £2bn portfolio primarily concentrated in lower-to-mid market fund investments across the US, Europe, and UK markets. The position demanded a candidate capable of maintaining the stellar performance benchmark while managing existing relationships and sourcing new opportunities.
What we did
We initiated a comprehensive 12-month global search, engaging 260 candidates across three continents.
Our approach was methodical and thorough, recognizing the critical nature of the succession planning for this key position. The search expanded beyond traditional geographic boundaries, considering candidates from the US, Europe, and Asia.
The outcome
The search culminated in the successful placement of a US-based professional who relocated for the position, bringing fresh perspective to the role while maintaining continuity in the investment strategy.
